Executive Indian Scripts for Microsoft Word

Executive is an add-on for Microsoft Word. It integrates with Word to allow the processing of multiple scripts in a single document.

High quality True Type fonts with font management software for Microsoft Word versions 7, Word 97, Word 2000 and Word 2002. Professional version includes Linotype fonts for top quality publishing.

Developed by Gate 7 this software is designed to make typing Indian scripts simple. By selecting an Indian language when creating a new document most of Word’s facilities become available both in that language and in English (extra buttons on the icon bar allow quick changing between languages).

Versions are available in Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi & Sanskrit (Devanagari), Malayalam, Punjabi (Gurumukhi) & Tamil. When more than one language is installed they integrate fully to give multilingual capability.

Laser Fonts

Laser Fonts by Linguists Software provide a cheaper alternative to fully functioning script management systems. Fonts are fully scaleable (in True Type and Type 1 formats) but features such as automatic creation of conjuncts and placement of preceding vowels are not included. Conjuncts and half characters are accessed using the Keyboard Switcher.

Suitable for most Windows software (Microsoft Works is not recommended). InduScript for Apple Mac allows easy phonetic input of all characters including conjuncts.
